I discovered Firefly sweet tea vodka over 15 years ago on a girl’s trip to Charleston. SC. This stuff is dangerous. It is pure vodka even though it tastes exactly like a glass of refreshing sweet iced tea. Drink it slowly. It goes down smooth.

Other great ways to use Firefly or any sweet tea vodka is instead of whiskey, make a vodka sour- mix 1 oz lemon juice, sweet tea vodka and 1 egg white in an ice filled shaker. Strain and pour into a lovely martini glass and garnish with a Luxardo cherry.

Try a mojito version: muddle 8-10 mint leaves in a shaker/ Add in 1 oz lime juice, sweet tea vodka and ice. Shake, pour over ice filled collins glass and top with club soda. garnish with a long sprig of mint and a piece of ginger shard.

Equipment

• 1 cocktail shaker

Ingredients

• 1 cup Ice
• 4 oz FireFly Sweet Tea Vodka
• 2 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
• Lemon peel, slices or fresh mint for garnish

Instructions

• Mix ice, vodka and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker.
• Shake vigorously until shaker frosts over.
• Pour mixture into 2 double old fashioned glasses filled with crushed ice. Garnish with lemon peel, lemon slices or fresh mint.

You can dress up this cocktail by pouring into a martini glasses

Try floating a dehydrated slice of citrus for a little polish or rub the rim of your glass with lemon juice .

Pour ginger beer over the top for a cocktail with even more bite.

There are several varieties of Sweet Tea Vodka, but I think Firefly is the smoothest.
