Why you do not need ranch dressing to make Spicy Crackers:

In the other online versions of this recipe, they use a whopping 2 cups of olive oil and 4 TBSP of ranch dressing. That means a typical serving of 10 crackers will have 760mg of sodium and 41.8 grams of fat. .

My version is every bit as flavorful but has only 400 mg of sodium and 21 grams of fat. And chances are- you probably have all the ingredients in your pantry.

Notes

  • If you have extra olive oil, save it and use it as a salad dressing
  • you can let the crackers marinate in the oil for 2 hours up to overnight. They will be more oily if left overnight to marinate.
  • Do not use high quality olive oil- you need 1-2 cups so a store brand or Kirkland signature brand is perfect.
