Ahoy!
This is a fun little cocktail I whipped up trying to think of a perfect drink for watching football this Sunday. Inspired by the Gaspiralla Pirate Festival in Tampa, I wanted Fresh Florida flavors that would be easy to find at any store and not too complicated to make in batches- hence- my pirate punch cocktail.
I used three spirits everyone has in their bar- or should- Dark Rum, Cointreau and Disarono. Then I added fresh squeezed lime juice and or try fresh Meyer lemon juice. Throw in some pineapple juice, a dash of simple syrup (or not) and spice it up with some ginger shards, dehydrated pineapple wheels, lime wheels or cinnamon sticks. It’s fresh and oh so Florida.
I sourced these gorgeous dehydrated pineapple and orange wheels from Trader Joe’s. Look for them in the nut section.
My glasses are by Juliska.
