Alcohol Free: Antioxidant Rich Sparkling Blood Orange & Lime Juice Mocktail

Tart Blood Orange juice, tangy Lime Juice and a splash of Sparkling Water create a bubbly drink bursting with bright flavor. It’s so refreshing, you’ll forget it’s a mocktail. Packed with antioxidant and vitamin rich fresh citrus, add this spritzer to your Dry January repertoire.

High in taste and low in calories

Use the freshest citrus you can find. This is the time of year, I’m so fortunate to be living in Florida- surrounded by citrus growers and so much incredible produce.

Ingredients- Makes 3-4 Mocktails

  • 7 Blood Oranges, juiced- you should have about 2 cups of juice

  • 3 limes, juiced

  • Sparkling Water of choice

  • Orange & lime slices for garnish

  • Ice

Method- Prep time- 10 minutes

  • Add ice to a double old fashioned or Collins glass. Pour into the glass 4 oz of blood orange juice. Top with 1 oz of lime juice. Mix with a cocktail stirrer. Pour sparkling water over. Garnish with orange and lime slices.
Blood Oranges are packed minerals & vitamins such as magnesium, folate, potassium and B vitamins and, of course, Vitamin C which boosts the immune system.
Cocktails can be good for you- just save the tequila or vodka for next month.
Any sparkling water (no sugar added) will do, but I love Pellegrino’s Blood Orange Essenza. ZERO calories.
