Apple Cider Sangria

Ingredients

  • 1 unit red skin pear cored and chopped
  • 1 unit large granny smith apple cored and chopped
  • ¼ cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 unit blood orange sliced thin (skin on)
  • 1 750 ml bottle of dry white wine
  • ½ cup vodka
  • 3 cups fresh apple cider
  • 2 unit cinnamon sticks plus more for garnish
  • apple fans for garnish
  • sliced blood oranges for garnish

Instructions

  • Add all the fruit to a large glass pitcher.
  • Add the wine, vodka and cider.
  • Stir in cinnamon sticks.
  • Chill at least 5 hours but preferably overnight.
  • To serve: pour into glasses over ice and garnish with apple fans, orange slices and a dry cinnamon stick.
